The Perkins Elementary PTO is organized for the purpose of fostering a strong, collaborative community between families, teachers, and staff of Perkins Elementary School in order to enhance the student educational experience.
We accomplish this mission through six key areas of activity:
Community Events - annual events such as the Perkins Carnival, Earth Day Picnic, Movie Night, and more
Student Spirit - supplying Perkins spirit wear for all students, and ensuring all 5th graders receive a yearbook
Teacher Appreciation - thanking our teachers for their tireless work through conference meals, Fill the Fridge, and more
Building Improvements - financially supporting purchases and projects to benefit the school community
Classroom Supplies - helping teachers purchase supplies beyond the district budget
Community Support - uplifting our most vulnerable community members through programs such as Adopt-a-Penguin and purchasing Thanksgiving turkeys
Our Executive Board is made up of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. The Board is elected.
